Here it comes

Here it comes

A Poem by Devansh Shekhar Shukla
"

Guess what.

"
As the shadows grow tall,
And the blue turns red,
Here it comes, the calming, balmy evening.

Nice imagery of the sunset and moonrise. The time for things that go bump in the night.

Thank you so much Clif!
Returned for another read two years down the line. Sunsets are special. When red meets gold you have treasure.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing this again!
Nice, but I do shape poems myself, and without a centered shape its hard for me to read. I can literally see a fractal dragon in shape poems, but this is too short, not centered, and more like Hiku. For example, in Japanese Hiku, Jupiter is a common theme that they might add to such a poem.

I love how you personify the coming of evening so we can watch it tiptoe in. I love how you pay attention to how your words sound together: "calming balmy evening" . . . I would prefer to say shadows grow LONG (instead of TALL), but your message is striking the way it is, too! Happy New Year! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Very good use of words Devansh. You said a handful in so few lines. When night comes. The quiet part of the day is here. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

You are welcome my friend.
Hello !! So the poem is really deep but
I wanna ask you that do you know about the scientific aspect of blue turning red..
According to Einstein whenever any object in a fast speed moves away it seems red and if it comes towards us , the light reflected by it seems to be blue ...
Until I didn't read your last line I thought that it means the same I wrote so I was confused ... But the last line changed the whole game ... I like that ... please if you get some time please read my new poem ❣❣
