THE HALLUCINATION

A Poem by Devansh Shekhar Shukla
"

True Friends are a precious gift from God. "A Boy gets lost in a Hallucination, shares his experience and prays for eternal friendship of true friends..."

I liked when you said '...is what the soul in this shell cries' because it's true that our bodies are just shells, vessels they're not who we are, I wouldn't even say they're what we are, because the soul lasts forever, but the body never will.
When you were talking about the relative it would be 'a' not 'an'
I liked this it was sad that the friend wasn't real. I like that idea though.

"You never died, you were lost." Truly a beautiful write.

A Rumi fan! He was good, but needed to work on his analog logic, to take it to the next level.

I applaud you for experimenting with arranging your words upon images . . . the way you lighten the image just under the words is especially well-done, nicely feathered. I've never seen anyone do this, usually text is hard to read in spots. Also, this lightening is not overdone, so as to distract. I love the idea of spending time with someone who has passed over . . . I often feel the presence of someone I'm missing from "the other side" (I like how you keep this vague so anyone can interpret how they believe). You make this scene between the two who are "meeting" nicely mundane & earthly, even tho it's a heavenly experience. This suggests that people really just want to spend some time with that missing person, not so much have some grand psychic experience where one gets "answer" . . . nice job & happy new year! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

"I felt such kind of pain of losing the friend whom I did never befriend." It's hallucination, indeed! :)

not a problem, i hope you have a great day
It's just like a rain on summer day when one remembers the gone ones. The memories are all left after all! we are all fated to dia at some point of time may be few minutes later, few months later, or few years later..But all we can do is love the ones around and remember the dead ones as u know our body has memory cells and the first reply u do to the circumstances is being stored and the body reacts the same way if it happens again. So one must be optimistic in every situation .... Liked ur work, emotions did come to me as i was going through and .......it was good!

It's okay.
Sometimes hallucinating is good if it's spiritual hallucination I spiritual hallucinate and see my gram and pap and hear them I speak to them and it sounds like I'm crazy, but I'm not I just feel it's good to see and hear your loved ones

Yeah Hazel! Thanks for reviewing this for the second time (-:
I had a flashback reading your poem, from way back when I use to trip and have hallucinations from dropping acid.
