WHEN THE RAIN COMES...

When the rain comes,

it brings a chuckle on everyone’s face.

When I enjoy it,

it feels like it’s the end of my bad days.

All people seem to be pleased

as they forget all their pain.

“What is the best thing ever?”

I think it’s a shower of rain.

All flowers turn into their best ever look,

picnics are planned among friends.

When it rains in the sands,

it’s just like a new life to the weary bands.

Sometime, somewhere, someone had asked me,

“How many types of people are there?”

I answered-“Those who have enjoyed 

rain and those who have never”.

Beautifully penned...

I specially enjoy the rain the most. It's like my best friend. I don't know how, but it washes all the pain and sorrow within. I too has written something about rain when I'm in class 9 and it's like "when it's rain, I feel God has gifted me on the occasion of monsoon..." . Your words hits the nostalgia in mine. Love those rhyming.

Rain is so underrated! I love how you captured that and the last line is genius! The best part of rain is how refreshing it is, just like this poem. The smell, and gray sky. This was so purely beautiful and wonderful!

Rain for us mumbaikars is literally not at all a pure bliss!! It is another punishment that god gives us ! But then yes , of course, raindrops are like diamonds!!! And the aroma of rain..... there is a gr8 deal of chemistry behind it! in India it is very obvious that if it is raining there has to be pakoras and hot tea and people going to hill stations like lonavala and all....it indeed has a gr8 importance and how much ever we try we will for sure fall short of words to praise rain as it is another form of treasure that is falling from above, for all...Mast poem thi!!! gr8 work

Lightning is fireworks when they get a bowling strike. I use to like the sound of the rain on the roof at night. It was good for sleeping.

Rain is pleasure, satisfaction and worship for someone and at the same time Rain is sorrow for poor people who are sustaining with heavy floods in their domain areas; which brings rage and displeasure to someone.
Undemanding and manageable rain which is simple is channeled her, and the lines of this poetry brings cheerfulness to everyone's face. We can experience the terrene and imaginable rain now.
