Mom

Mom

A Poem by D Kamdar
"

No words to describe this lady

"
A tall and pretty lady dressed in blue,
Showing her charisma in every hue,
With pride she calls me by my petname,
For she has taught me to survive in this game,
Her love has crossed the oceans par,
She drives my heart besides a car,
She has big dimples and an eclectic smile,
She fulfills each and everyduty in her own style,
She has taught me manners and how to walk,
Which makes her different from the stock,
This doll of mine with her long hair fine,
Is my Mother whom noone can define!

Aw. :) How cute. I am interested to see a poem where you don't rhyme. Sometimes having to rhyme inhibits our ability to get the thoughts we want across exactly as we want them. You have some beautiful phrases and I can tell that you care a lot about what you are writing about. Some of the most powerful poems don't rhyme however. Your writing is good, but I would suggest to free yourself up and just let your creativity flow without worrying about rhyming. A great poem, I can tell that you really love and admire your mother. Great work!
