Let Anarchy Ring

Let Anarchy Ring

A Poem by Devon Posley
"

I wrote this poem about a year ago for a contest, just thought I'd share it. Enjoy!

"
Countless baby cries
Being hung by an educational noose
Deep depressing sighs
As we watch our own beliefs just fall loose

The government knows nothing
The people stand for nothing
It's hard to believe a roaming loner
Has the only voice worth something

But maybe I'm wrong
Maybe the respect for our ancestors has grown
Or maybe I'm right,
And the government  purposely looses fights

When will you see that the government is lying and
let your voice be heard cause our great nation is dying.

Our nation is DYING without the 'E'.....I sympathise your sentiments...Are Politicians in it for our gain or their own?

Other than a few grammar errors this is very nice :). Truth is in those words that's for sure, I've never been a supporter of the government, they are not making life very awesome but I hope we can change that. :D nice job
