Natural DichotomyA Poem by DevKass92A poem about acceptance, denial, the quest for love and friendship, and self-exploration.Scold me for my indiscretions to
nature Reprimand me for my hypocrisy Guide me through my insecurities Love me for who I truly am Have concern for me when I am
unsure Hold me when I do not understand Condemn me if you do not understand Support me through my tribulations Believe in me when I do not Abuse me if you think my friendship
unworthy Embrace me when I need compassion Ostracise me if you are that
shallow Disown me if blood is less
important than belief Seduce me if your intentions are
mine Brand me if you are too
narrow-minded not to Blame me when you don’t have the
courage to face responsibility Dessert me when I need you the most Trust me for the simple fact that
trust is scarce and invaluable Confide in me so we can care for
each other Tease me if your immaturity
supersedes mine Look at me so I can marvel at your
beauty Strike me down even if it is just
to uphold your values Remember me so you can say you once
knew me Befriend me because I am worth
having as a friend © 2016 DevKass92Author's Note
