A Poem by DevKass92
"

A poem about the tragedy of a still-born child.

"

A mother cries

While she births

Three stillborn lives

Before she dies.

Forgotten before they can be remembered.

This poem was inspired by my grandmother who experienced the loss of a still-born child. The poem is meant to be extremely short so as to capture the short-lived moment during which we believe we have brought another person into the world....before we actually realise we haven't.

A sad story told in the short poem. I believe one of saddest things. A mother dying during birth never to take of their child. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry.
