i realise
pain grasps love
and hides it from those who really deserve it
hiding it deep inside
up and away
where no one can go
no one can see
hidden
until one day
those who deserve it the most
find it
and savour it
grasp it and hold it
nurture it and care for it
until it becomes something
that they always wanted
