Love

Her heart lifts away from her chest
And shatters into a million pieces
Right there in front of her
She tries to save them
Save them from the world
And tries to piece them together
But no matter how hard she tries
Her heart stays shattered.
She lifts her head and screams
Her scream is silent
So as not to brake the night
Her head falls, lands in her hands
And her feelings spill from her
Spilling in every direction
She collapses in the mess
The mess of her heart and soul
Into the mess of whatever used to be
She has nothing left inside now
But a reminder of the love she had and the pain that is left
She knows she must move on
But how can she when something keeps pulling her back?
