Prologue

Deep within the vast and lifeless void of space, hidden from the Earth by the shadow of the moon, strange creatures, alien to our world; silently plotted the downfall of Man.

 

Using a science strange to our race, the terrifying beasts subtly began to unwind the very fabric of time and space upon which our planet rests. Gradually, in the dark and forgotten corners of our world, things never before seen by mortal eyes slowly seeped in but, not knowing the terrible truth of them, mankind continued on; much as before.

 

Soon though, deep within the Carpathian Mountains, where the gulf between this world and the next is narrow; a terrible disaster was to make the creatures sinister intentions clear to all...
