Love in SeasonsA Poem by Devin Mitchell DurbinYou are my love, and love is enough.
I love the way your kiss tastes like winter
Sending chills down spines, it makes me shiver. Bitter is the taste of chocolate dark as the night, opening up starlight. I love the way you are so charming Even though you're so unsure. Beautiful are the ways you blush light up like the sun, at the height of summer. You are my love, and love is enough hope in my blood life in my bones I don't ever need to go home. Never need to go home. I love the way your sweater smells like autumn fallen leaves meet the Earth, a prequel to winter. Open doors and windows and flowing curtains fluttering on the breeze, like my heart skips a beat. I love the way we meet in the middle, it keeps me honest as honest as the rising tree's standing in the forest. Sweet is the melody, sinking into my skin picks up the tempo and leaves me wanting for more. You are my love, and love is enough. Hope in my blood Life in my bones. I don't ever need to go home. Never need to go home.
