An end in pain

The pain I feel for this man is real, a glimpse within my heart will kill, but my words will heal.

Shards from my glass heart scatter this floor
It's every moment I'm gonna miss
Every moment I adore
Sharp pieces cut my soul while you sit beside me so oblivious to the pain that's taking place
Ripped wounds that never healed
Sour lies that kill
Words like lava streaming from your mouth
Every reason I never listened to that doubt
A look in the mirror and I see all truth
I'm no one to you
All these crazy words and things I try
Not realizing our love died
Like a flower with no rain
My heart will always have a stain
And remember your beautiful name
