Never Know

It might sound like another one of my other poems, I just had to get these thoughts out. Every letter I typed hurt

Never Know

 

So you don’t want me

That’s alright

I’ll find someone who does

 

So you think to use me

That’s alright

I’ll find someone who doesn’t

 

So you don’t love me

That’s alright

I’ll find someone who will

 

So you want to abuse me

That’s alright

I’ll find someone who won’t

 

You’re just another fool

Who doesn’t want me

Want to wait awhile for another

Maybe something better

There is no better

 

You’re just another fool

Keeping your singlehood

Thinking I’ll take away your freedom

You can have best of both worlds

I don’t have the need to tie you

Nor do I want to be tied

 

You’re just another fool

Don’t know what’s right in front of you

Don’t know what you have

Wait till I’m gone

Then you’ll see

Then you’ll know

All that you had

All that was yours

But now it’s gone

Now it’s his

Now you’ll never know

Oh so very true. Emotional, sad poem but well penned. No one thinks they'll actually lose that one person. Very upsetting.
