This poem is about the different effects death can have on people's emotions.

Life dies like a flower,

Petals drifting slowly down.

Or life ends like a light,

Shut off and leaving you in the dark.

Life can take you out to sea,

While you slowly sink deeper and deeper.

Or life stops all at once,

And you are gone without reason or warning.
