Where I'm From

Where I'm From

A Poem by Veronica
"

Childhood dreams and ruffing the streets may lead to some wholesome memories...

Where I'm From

I am from a small 11th Street home
From storytime and recess a top the school roof
I am from moving across town to meeting new friends
From hopscotch and four-square, soccer and more

I am from middle school drama, in which band is so much more
From meeting my best friends and just losing a few
I am from a fresh new start amongst friends
And from the new high school CREW

I am from sleepless nights and hopeless dreams
From the Harry Potter fancraze and everything insane
I am from fingers on a keyboard just tapping away
From music blaring through speakers all through the night

I am from writing stories all alone
From hopeful happiness as the years go by
I am from a town that I now call home
In a crazy, happy world of my own
