Compassion

Compassion

A Poem by Destiny S.

Promptly tossed out
into the cold wide world;

All clothes sold
and no other choice
but to wander this frozen orb
alone;

A patch of loosely knitted shirt
my only string of hope
and my last remaining friend;

Compassion is so hard to come by
nowadays.
