Blame It On the Rain

Blame It On the Rain

A Poem by Destinee
"

We blame the rain for all of the things we do.

"

I blame it on the rain

It makes my skin come alive

It makes my tongue loose

And my eyes wander

You blame it on the rain

It makes your mind go blank

It makes your anger flair

And your fists hunger

We blame it on the rain

These things we’ve done

Because it’s the only way

We can love each other

i like this a lot but i like this because i LOVE the rain,it easy to compare it with being hurt or angry because rain is seen as cold, dark, and gloomy, ive even compared it myself on some of my writings if im honest but deep down i love the rain, walking in it i find refreshing and cleansing, kissing in it i find alluring and jumping in puddles i find my self feeling like a kid again
the rain is amazing for something that is quite simply just water....

I could never blame it on the rain. I could blame it on the stupidity, the people, the mistakes. But never the rain. You're right though, it does make the skin come alive. For the reasons you blame the rain, I love it.
