for acrostic contest

 

Fading away into the night
An unknown emotion pulses
Dark and beautiful in your soul
Even though you hide it I know you’re just
Another lonely star in search of the one
Worth shining for, and
Although you were meant for someone else
You will never fade from my heart

I'm not usually one for acrostics but what do you think?

Very nice acrostic; all too often I see them get muddled up when in the effort to make sure it really is an acrostic the words don't always keep tone. Very well written.
