And after all these years of being by your side
The first thing that comes to mind is still
“Come on baby, take a bite out of life with me.”

And we joke about it and you tease
But deep down in my old heart I still know 
That was the smartest thing I’ve ever said.

This poem sparked in me the wonderful sensation of the genuine feelings of growing up with a person, I don't call it growing old because when you're with that person whose heart your's is entertwined with, it doesn't feel like growing old. This is a beautiful write.
