It isn't okay

"It's okay, it'll be okay!" she pleaded grasping my arm as if it were her own. It sounded, by the way she said it, that she was trying to convince herself more than anything. I didn't truly know why, but I was ready to leave, to push her away and disappear, for some reason I didn't care she felt bad, or even guilty. It WAS her fault, which was how I rationalized it as I walked off, leaving her hopeless and slumped on the ground. Little did I know she was the least of my problems...
