we are all shouting at shadows

the words slipped from my tongue to the default bolded text where they were given less meaning, less feeling, and ultimately are made unimportant but what is one to do .

My voice though loud is small.

There is a hopelessness we get when we realize this, that we are all shouting at shadows, shadows of those who cared. But like a star fading into the darkness we don't realize until it has already happened.
