Your Doll

Your Doll

A Poem by Dessa

I’ll be your doll

I’ll let you push me around

I’ll let you use me

I’ll be your doll

With no strings attach

No feelings involved

If that’s the way you want it

I’ll be you doll

And when you find something else that’s more entertaining

I’ll let you put me down

And I’ll wait here for you to come back…

That is, if you come back…

I’ll be here

I’m your doll

i loved this poem & oh how i can relate to that feeling. of being used, then tossed away, forgotten, then perhaps being used again. "With no strings attach

No feelings involved

If that's the way you want it" the act of giving yourself up, selling out, being someone's doll. it happens to all of us at some point. at some point in our lives, we are all used like a doll. a wonderful poem. beautifully written & powerful.
