Desolation's Partner

Desolation's Partner

A Poem by Madison
"

When trust is placed in the wrong hands, it can leave your world shattered

"

Worn weary

Watching the world contort,

Into one I no longer know.

Trust falling away.

Hopes diminishing quick as a setting sun,

Leaving me berefit.

No one to believe in,

Left to my own musings

Dark void,

Spiraling down

Escape unimaginable,

As cynicism

Replaces joy

I liked this poem. I like descriptive poems I think and aren't always clear on the message. They're the most fun to read. Good poem.
