Naked Reflections

Naked Reflections

A Poem by Madison
"

I didnt realize how much this poem revealed, until I tried to read it out loud, and couldnt continue. Tears literally started to fall.

"

Isolation to be my destiny

Pain to be my companion.

Apathy the only thing that protects

For the moment.

Happiness has began to frighten me

So soon does it lead into a darker realm,

Of despair.

Anger has become my cloak

Masking many emotions,

I cant speak of.

Dont worry,

I wont ask you to fix me,

To save me from myself.

Down into the spiraling depths

I go

Traveling where wise souls

Dare not tread.

I completely relate to this, all but I don't cloak myself in anger. It became harder for me too feel at times, yet emotions run through me like lightning entering water. Anyway, very well done, great job. You may get a kick out of a few of mine, more so the I am the Darkness collection I have. It may give you a new perspective on dark.

This is just--wow. You can really tell you just poured your heart and soul into this. The emotion in this is amazing.

Have you thought about publishing this? I think you should. This is absolutely incredible.
