Crown of Chaos

We haven't left our home for weeks

we keep losing track of the days,

time keeps moving, yet we sit still
like a prisoner in our own home.

We can't remember the last time
we went outside and felt the sun

shine so bright, and warming our faces
as we look up at the blue sky.

It seems like we all has gone mad,

as those that depart from this world
silently lay beneath our feet,

love ones shed tears virtually.

Unknown force separated us

not knowing when all this will end,
but we'll come out of this stronger

together we will fight, as we try

to build a sense of normalcy

in this chaos and search for light.

We've seen hell and came out of it,

we've become stronger than ever,
even though we've lost some of us
we'll forever remember them
but we will fight to find the light 
to see a brighter day.
