Shimmer of Life

Do you remember back in those days

when everything was innocent and pure

I remember the look in your eyes
it shimmers like the stars in the sky

but that same fateful night 

the shimmer died.

You pushed me away 

locked your feeling deep within inside

no matter how much I tried to help you

you denied me, and walked away.

I remember you the time you called 

saying, "I want to give up on life"

I heard you cry many times

but it never escalated to this

but no matter what I said

you pushed it all away.

I just want you to know
no matter how far away you go

I wish you could see it from this point of view

and realize you are worth a million lives

I know the world is tough
and I know you feel like there's no other choice

but look around you and try to see what i see

there's many people right behind you

but it seems the pain have slowly blinded you.
