Growing up people always say be who you want to be

but it seems they are full of hypocrisy

because no matter what path you choose

there will always be someone trying to take control.

The things that work for you will not work for me

because I am not you and you are not me,

I found my path and I will follow through

I know, I know,

people around me will never accept the path I've taken

regardless the consequences I will follow my heart.

Even though you think you doing good,

you are only trapping me in a four wall room.

What's the point envisioning a future

when there's always someone trying to take control?

what's the point in making decisions

when there's always someone dictating what you will do?

There's a difference between suggestions and dissuade

I hope one day you realize I'm not living for you

this is my life and I'm the protagonist of this story,

so stop trying dissuading me from my choices.
