Dreamer

Sometimes I feel like there's not enough time

to go out in the world to chase what's meant to be mine

sometimes I feel like my life is being dragged around

wasting my time on things I cannot stand anymore.

Sometimes I feel like screaming on top of my lungs

I don't want to pretend this is what I want 

even if those that I love will never understand.

Take a moment and look at me

I'm yet to be happy,

set me free.

I don't want to wait for the right time

I want to break free, to live my dreams

I want to choose what is meant to be mine

so set me free and please try to understand

I want to live again

breathe again

so please let me go.

I understand things will not be easy

I know I will be facing the unknown

but that's the beauty to live freely

I don't know what the future may hold for me

but I want to see what may bring.

The whispers of doubt sometimes rings in my head

but I know that is all part of a learning process

I don't want you to think I won't make it

the only way to find out is to let me go.

One day I will gain the courage to leave what feels like home

to face the unknown and even if I were to fall

I don't want to let go what is dear to me

my hopes and dreams will forever be ready to be set free

don't try to stop me because I feel is my time to shine

even though you may not understand

please try to see that...
