Racing Time

People always say things will fall into place

just give it time and take deep breaths,

I want to believe this is the way

but time will not stop for you or me.

I know things take time

but my impatience makes me lose my mind

time will not wait for things to happen on its own

but you have to take actions to make them real.

listen to what I have to say,

let me go my own way

because...

I don't want to wait 

for things to fall in to place

I always been so impatient

take me where I mean to be

I want to reach my dreams

and make them my reality 

but I know it takes time

but I just don't want to wait.

The clock strikes, as another hour is gone

sitting here trying to figure things out

I'm tired of losing hope to make things happen

sometimes it seems that time is running out.

I want to live in the now,

but there's so much I want to do

clock strikes again and another hour is gone

I'm losing my patience,

it seems I'll never catch up to time

I cannot breathe I'm slowly losing my mind.
