Dear Younger Self

Dear younger self,

is a pleasure to meet you,

I know things been hard for you,

the love you once felt seems to fade away

keep in mind things will change,

don't give up on hope just yet,

and I know what you do to yourself

but is okay,

because one day you will forgive yourself.

Dear younger self,

I know right now you can only see darkness around you,

everyone seem to be turning their backs on you,

but don't worry,

soon you will glance at a dim light,

but don't fear it

just walk towards it and don't look back.

One day you will save yourself.

All the pain and darkness you endure,

will only make you stronger,

don't give upon hope,

don't let the fire within your heart die

you will find your way in this life

and in the end you will see the light.

Dear younger self,

I know things seem to be imposible for you,

but you always had that dim light within you,

it seems that no matter what you went through

you didn't let define who you are.

Dear younger self,

I know you reached at times the point of suicide

and I know you failed many times

but I want to let you know

I'm glad you didn't succeed,

because through all your pain

you helped yourself become who you are today.

Soon you will see the end of this pain.

All the pain and darkness you endure,

will only make you stronger,

don't give up on hope,

don't let the fire within your heart die

you will find your way in this life

and in the end you will see the light.

Dear younger self,

by know you had find your smile,

and you had found your purpose,

your eyes are shimering like the stars,

keep fighting and don't look back.

I want to thank you, younger self

for hanging in there and being strong,

thanks to you and all the pain you endure

I am who I am today because of you,

even though I glance behind 

you always remind me to never give up

so I want to thank you.

Desite all the pain and darkness I endure

I have become stronger than before,

I'll never give up on hope,

I won't let the fire within me die,

I found my way in this life

and in the end,

I found love, 

I found a future,

I found the light

I'll keep aiming for a better future.
