The Key of Healing

A new day begins and you hide in your shell again, still wondering how you can hide your pain away.

The scars left a track on your arms little pieces of the past not yet forgiven, the past lingers still deep in your mind hunts you every time you close your eyes pieces of memories not yet forgotten.

You feel like you walking alone down this road feeling lost not knowing which path to take next you feel afraid what will come along you fear the thought of never forgetting those thoughts.

The past will stay where it belongs open up your heart, and look deep inside try to understand yourself, you know deep down who holds the key to move along and forgive, don’t give up on yourself, there is so much that awaits.

The tears you cry alone leave track on your face I can see your pain. When night falls you crawl out of your shell, but the pain still lingers there, your heart is pounding in your chest, your mind is racing, try to breathe. The pain that you still feel lingers within you, hides a meaning in side open up your heart, I know despite all this you know you hold the key, the key to heal.

The past will stay where it belongs open up your heart, and look deep inside try to understand yourself, you know deep down who holds the key to move along and forgive, don’t give up on yourself, there is so much that awaits.

I know the dark days you been through I lived them many times in my life, those dark days only makes your pain worst, I understand, but in the end to move on you must forgive and let go, to start anew.

Take my hand, let’s walk down this road, know you never been alone, I care for you my friend despite all the pain, there're lessons you learned so don’t look back now because I’m going to be here for you.
