We're more than friends but less than lovers.

I didn’t dare to cross the line

Because you’re a great friend of mine

I never wanted to messed up this friendship

Even though my heart desires a closer relationship

 

It will be a bliss, a heaven

If we can be more than friends

But our situation makes me fell so blue

All that I want is to stay right beside you

 

Pretending like I don’t care

But actually, it is hard for me to bear

I want to turn away

But these feelings won’t go away

 

I tried to let go

But my heart doesn’t want to

So I kept in my wallet your photograph

Even though for me it is not enough

 

I guess this Valentines I’ll be alone

Because I am stuck here in the Friendzone

Awwww! I can relate so well to this poem. It's so amazing! I love it. I know the feeling. Sometimes it's just how things are supposed to be.. even if you want to be more.. but just can't. It is your choice though. You can risk telling that friend how you feel. But I know you mentioned that you don't want to ruin the friendship.. so sometimes there's nothing you could do.. but just treasure each other that you have this spectacular friendship. =) It can be painful but.. hopefully you won't be too depressed! It's okay. Being friends isn't always a bad thing. Your friend might feel the same for you sometime?
