Beautiful Monster

They're human imitations...monsters in human form... but that lovely monster has a heart.

In the sun’s rays, I want to bask

But the light I desire burns me into ashes

I’m forever a prisoner of the dusk

For I am a creature living in darkness

 

 

Playing under the moonlight

They sparkle, those beautiful ruby eyes

Bewitched, this little prey, he cannot fight

Defying death, body cold as ice

 

 

Feeding in this liquefied life, I can’t resist

Each drop drives me crazy

Forevermore my kind will exist

With this bitter sweet immortality

 

 

This hunger keeps me up at night

The column of your neck I long to taste

My desire to caress you gives me a fright

And I am left in a flurry of haste

 

 

Poison running through my veins

A little kiss will be your death

I will make you hold your breath

I’ll bring you pleasure, I’ll make you insane

 

 

The smell of blood beneath your skin

My fangs slowly sink in silky flesh

Crimson stains are hidden in your black dress

And holding you in my arms is my greatest sin.

Beautiful Monster is a great title for this. There is so much here. I wish I could touch on one thing but to do so would be not right. Anyway this is very good and penned well.
