Under the Trees

Under the Trees

A Poem by Desmund Tiny

It was a hot afternoon

And the stress makes me feel so doomed.

I go to my secret place to freshen up, under the trees,

Where the swirly wind blows with a warm breeze

I heard a beautiful music

And it has a mysterious magic.

It lifts up my soul so high

That causes this face of mine to smile.

It feels familiar, this rhythm

It reminds me of him.

The guy who sings softly while playing his guitar

That blows my mind so far.

Under the trees, he sings gently

That washes away all my miseries.

I’m listening to him, secretly

And I’m addicted to it, completely
