It has us

this is getting out my emotion from a friend and what I just experienced. I just wrote this tiny little poem right now. Tell me what you think

It has consumed,

every...single..one of us.

We don't know who we are,

anymore.

We put up fake smiles,

in profile pictures.

We lie about your age,

to have our fun.

It eats our minds, 

when we sign in. 

What is the outside?

What is air?

We fake our lives,

no one wants to know the true side.

The egos are too strong,

because all you live by is a lie.

You want to be real,

but all they do is hate,

ignore,

all of your existence.

You want to be fake,

but all they do is hate,

hate,

until you can't take it anymore.

It has consumed

every..single...one of us.

We can't back out now,

It already has us.
