Games and Things

Games and Things

A Poem by Moonflower
"

it's too much to ignore

"

I see all of their faces
All around, and they're drooping
They're so down

No one is coming up for air
I see the darkness,
a shadow
Beneath their stare

  "We're sick and we're dieing"

And all the kids in town,
they come around
with their plastic bags and
Their plaster eyes
with pieces of paper, faces all dry
and they say
   "We're sick and we're dieing!"

We are all sick now
but at least, we're high
And this might help
to pass some time

We can make our money,
So we can all get by
And I'll owe you a ten
[Just break me out a line]

Yeah I'll get you back man,
But tonight

I'm sick and I'm dieing
