The StormA Poem by MoonflowerWho knew
And my god, what a day to be alive Lets break some glass and watch the light dance in the beams Illuminating my darkness Rainbow prisms is that the color of my pain Is that your reflection outside Crying in the January rain I thought I saw a shadow cast but then it was just my own disdain cause I knew you'd leave me here perfectly... insane
And I'll just remember the contours of your face You laughed, off handidly and flicked a burning flame Out into the landscape And we faded away..
Like the blunt ends of A winters day It was gray Just like the things I say
Like "Oh, What a day to be alive!"
It's a god damned good day to be alive But where are you, where do you hide but in the tired recesses of my depraved mind Yeah I'm so lucky to be alive © 2011 MoonflowerReviews
