No BeginnningA Poem by Moonflower
I'm only waiting for someone to tell me something different as shadows pass over broken alley ways and sordid faces Imprint themselves upon my memory I'll admit that the only thing that I can see is the curve of your desolate smile, the crinkling around mahogany eyes
Those stone recesses fell before you, crumbling without a sense of obstruction It was your silhouette, shading my tired red rimmed lids and beating at the landscape, no direction, no centerfusion
The earth turned with catupulting hymns and sinners chanting out their sins
Dirt stained children falling down onto bones and filth and destruction The clock tower rang twice before the dawn and no one was sure of the attempt to wake the blinded ones © 2010 MoonflowerAuthor's Note
