Star Child

Star Child

A Poem by Moonflower

I could break down

the complexes

see

through the walls

of serpentine and

indecision

Fear is an obstacle of Illusions

That blade

had seeped into your

lucid brain

Thin slices,

left your face a

mirror

of what was there

before.

thin slivers of fear...pasted like mache upon a face...becomes you to those who know only what they see...that destructive razor blade can slice through organics and grey matter as great white on a torso...the well that springs from history and spills into today is founded on a bygone time belonging to the retrospective road...instead you let it cut away the daisies in your daily chain...illusionist of the grandest scheme...the war in which you do enlist...the fearsome state that does not exist....excellent poem Desiree honey...amazingly astute...i have been inspired...thank you...

So tell me about this one. Why did you write it?
What does it mean to you? I liked it but I feel there
is something deeper behind it.

I couldn't have said it better than Shawn Renee did. Good read.

Cut away layer by layer from our own internal vacillations and insecurities. If only the realization was as obvious as you describe it when it occurs. Beautiful, Moonflower.
