Heart broken

Heart broken

A Poem by Moonflower

I believed you because

it was beautiful

And I needed something sacred

to hold near.

...Don't flutter your wings, preparing to fly away...

I still need you here, please stay.

Ah, the powerful needing of someone. This has a bittersweet quality to it yet it is very beautiful in its sadness. I rather hope this someone doesn't leave. Impressive poem, I think.

I want to laugh because how awful I know this desire to be. I know it too well, far more than I want to. i'd pretty much copy this word for word and send it to her if I thought she'd stay. Perfectly done here, ol chum.
