Balancing

Balancing

A Poem by Moonflower

We're walking the tight rope, balancing along the lines

No one knows when they're going to slip, when they might die

And if we're stuck here in the sand, the ever sucking sands of time

Then maybe it is significant for all of us to lie.

Oh i like the hint of wise cynicism here,no one does know when would they slip or die but the end and gradual decay is for certain.Precise and hard hitting.

I'm catching a hint of cynicism, and I agree.

a thought provoker , asking a definiton of lies , and who is telling the lie , especially cognizant of the lies one tells one self ...

Never a reason to lie. Lies will twist you up and the lies will increase. Sooner or later you will get caught when the lies become twisted up. You are correct. The tight rope of life keep us alert and we best be ready to hold on. A outstanding poem.
