Obsessed

I miss you.

 

but I must admit

that I'm relieved

you can't see me like this.

 

My hair a tangled mess,

Curling around my face

and pillows

My eyes ringed with

exhaustion

 

I can't draw myself out

of this mind state

tapping wildly at the

keys

I take fiteen minute

breaks

 

rinse, repeat.

 

I smile at my creation,

adding, deleting,

and I can't help but

think

This is completely

unhealthy.

 

Author's Note

Since my boyfriend left thursday morning, I began my little attempt at writing a book, Burn Away has engulfed all of my time, thankfully I've been too sick to work, or I might just lose my job. :)
