If there isn't a tomorrow.

If there isn't a tomorrow.

A Poem by Moonflower

When I die...

Call out
my name

for I will

hear you

all the

same

As the wind

blows

So low and

sweet

Through

the field

is where

we'll meet

So whisper

my name

I will return

My life

is gone

My soul

rebirthed.

When I die...

Don't cry for me

For I am here

I did not leave.

I love this poem!
Nice rhyme scheme. :D

Interesting format, but be careful of breaking up like this. Each break calls for a pause, but that doesn't seem to be your intention. Such pauses tend to break any kind of flow you were hoping to achieve.
Otherwise, it's a nice little whisper in the wind, so to speak. Something the "re-birthed soul" would sing in the wind.

Great setup makes the poem easy on the eye. Anyway very well written. like someone mentioned below could easily be a great song.

I really like your poem. The line break is really cool. Its almost a new form of poetry. If you made it longer it would be an awesome song.

That's nice!
Actually, if it's me, I won't read this kind of topic, but your poem is great!

This is beautiful. Very simple, and broken up, but it works quite well. It reminds of me of a piece I wrote (which isn't nearly as good). :)
Nice write.
