Bliss

A Poem by Moonflower

Sleep Little Lambs

Hide
Your Innocent Eyes

Your Master
Will Save you
From your Own
Lies

Dream Little Lambs

He will Never
Let

you

See
Anything That
Hurts
That's to Truthful
To Believe

Walk Little Lambs

To the pasture
He leads you

Lay out your necks
So your master

Can bleed you.

this poem here is one of the gems of WC that deserves to be spotlighted,
the accentuated flow is the beauty of the wording, that speaks soft as a lull
yet the meaning is tragic as death itself, which really makes this poem
brilliant and a marvel to ponder in light of the emotion effects the
meaning has on the heart, 100 across the boards.

How pink floyd-ish !! I love it !! it's amazing how people are easily led when blind !! yet I believe it's hard to break free when all around are sheep, even if one did one will be homeless more than free "true freedom requires sacrifice and pain. Most human beings only think they want freedom. In truth they yearn for the bondage of social order, rigid laws, materialism, the only freedom man really wants, is the freedom to become comfortable. "
wonderful piece, speaking out that loud excludes you from being a lamb, I guess you should read my poem Army of None.
well done.

I loved this. It may be of my own reading but I think this is about the faithful and their belief in God. Whatever the inspiration, this was a wonderful write.

wicked drive through to the marrow with beautifully honed words~ the literary sword you wield here is sharp and double edged~ intense and gripping poem~

Hmm...This takes you on a ride and little do you know about the destination until you get there. So much innocence and tenderness in the eyes of a lamb, but the shepherd is just doing his job. This poem paints a real picture and I'll be the first to say that lamb tastes great and I'm sorry if that offends anyone.
