Between the Spaces of Time

Between the Spaces of Time

A Poem by Moonflower

As star dust spills
across this black canvas
Sparkling into a forbidden
slice of heaven

I sigh and let go of the easel
waiting to see your
Iridescent eyes
staring into the Sun's blazing
rays

...And I stand back....

Immersed in the beauty
of your Saturn lined aura
as you dance around the rings
of eternity

I watch
from my broken Milky Way
hoping for gravity
to hold me

Here
in this moment

But i let go...

Fall into the waves
of cosmic balance,
wading on the shores of
Neptune's cerulean sands.

We sweep across the lulling
folds of time
Painting stars on the vast
canvas of our hearts

Breaking out of that circular motion
of life
in this never ending galaxy...

I see the wastelands of mars in
your eyes
And you find redemption in
my moon struck sighs...

Romantically stardusty. "Iridescent." And after "Neptune's" did you mean "cerulean," the shade of blue? Cap "Mars."

Emotions expressed via planetary bodies intrigues.

"As stardust spills
across this black canvas
sparkling into a forbidden
slice of heaven"

The opening lines echo magically long after reading.

"I see the wastelands of Mars in
your eyes
and you find redemption in
my moonstruck sighs..."

A lunar female offering to the embattled Martian male.

Stellar starlit lyricism.

So much from observation and the process of art recognising the beauty in life in the heart, the ebb and flow here is wonderfully done love!

This is really far out. I love it.
It reminds me of *The stars that play wit laughing Sam's dice*
Thank you for this magical journey.
