Ode To Her

Ode To Her

A Poem by Moonflower

Lay me down

in rolling pastures

Taste this concious,

sweet disaster

I see you standing by

the water

Calling to me,

Come my daughter

Isis, Lady of the Nile

Queen of Heaven,

I am your child

Feel my heart beat

for your name

Do I seek you out in vain

Ishtar, Mother of my heart

Don't leave me here to fall apart

I do beseech your holy name

I find this world is still the same

Lay me down across the water

I will come home to be your daughter

The nature has been handled well and the poem is ending beautifully...

I like the magical qualities in the words. I enjoyed dwelling in the safety
of the feminine strength. The power that gives life to all can actually be
very frightening.

I can see you're getting deep in touch with the book of law, the usage of such goddesses was amazing, I have many friends who would be interested in such a piece, 93 my friend ;)
