Some Night in December

Some Night in December

A Poem by Moonflower

You wrapped your arms around
me
that night

it was
a cold december
and I think you just needed

some warmth in your life

So you lay your hands on my body,
hot and soothing,

your cold fingers
lay heavily
on my stomach,

my pulse

rising and
falling

in harmony with yours

I could feel it through my shirt,
 each beat perfectly

in sync.

your breath whispered quietly,
burning my shoulder,

leaving it cool and moist,
I could feel what you were

thinking

our thoughts as perfectly in sync as our

heart beats

As you moved smoothly over my legs and back,

I didn't

know if you were nervous, but my

hands were shaking.

The morning light
shone in weakly

through those dirt stained doors,

reflecting

your image in the glass

As you stood up
to throw on your jeans and flannel

rushing off to work,
and smiling as you said

good bye.

I got really sensual with the opening right to the middle...
but then the end was quite rushed?

hurm...but that's what happened in real life...It happen so fast...:O...jk...
anyway, love it..:)
