This is about a guy who I love but does me love me? I know the answer to that now and it's no. He was different from other guys but this song explains it all !

he was nice

he made me feel like I wasn't alone 

but as time past we just grew apart

and now after all of those years, we met again

he seemed different and I was right 

he wasn't the same guy I met all of those years ago

I fought over him like it was some silly game 

over him and if he'd chose me 

but I was wrong about him

I guess everything they told me abuts him was right

the pain that he left hurts deeper then a knife 

a knife to the heart is worse than another pain in the world

I still remember the way he looked at me

and the way he would talk to me

but now that I see the truth 

is he was no different from the rest 

he was the same as every other man in this world 

a world full of pain and tears caused by men

I guess this is my way of telling him goodbye
