Unclothed and Honest

Unclothed and Honest

A Poem by Alyssa

Through closed eyes I study your face.
Tracing your every valley's shadowy place.
A hundred dozen times or so this ritual's count.
Mind of my heart may I never surmount.
Oh but never before had I courage for you to know this;
Many a time I'd try, but oft my silence always persists.
Silences remove you of my tongue and gaze.
At long last my love may take its shaky raise.
Through open eyes Ill gaze upon your handsome face,
Through my open eyes see my quiet grace.
Here I lay before you, unclothed and honest.

Beautiful, A women getting the courage to lye before her man unclothed, yet the underlying metaphor is deep too, how shae is now baring her soul and total self.....Nice read.

Love,
Me
