Do You Dare Unwrap Me

Do You Dare Unwrap Me

A Poem by Alyssa

In the depths of my deep heart,
Where layers weave a mysterious work of art.
Theres more here than meets the eye,
As unshed tears weep tales in a weary cry.
Stone cold walls drawn high and sound;
My previous weakness, my vulnerabilities harshly inbound.
Still a beauty so soft and majestic lurks within;
And a passion so wild and profound, promising many a grin.
Can you sweep away the haunting debris?
Do you dare unwrap me?

This is an absolutely charming poem, very bold and brutally honest. "Take me for who I AM, if you dare" It's a challenge to a would be lover an invite into the heart but with fair warning. Simply beautiful You do such a fantastic job of expressing finest details of emotion in your poems.

Thank you for a great read.

Josh
